Wow. Now it’s 80 bucks for ONE DAY. Or 170 for all three, and the lineup isn’t all that great. Another thing my family has to cancel out of our lives.

Maybe not a great line-up for you, but I am sure it is great for many who have favorite bands playing. I counted about 10 on every day that I would like to see, and at a “low-end” estimate of $15 (more like $20-25) to see each of them on tour in clubs, that would be worth about $150 per day. Doing the math makes it obvious that day passes are still a really good deal and the 3-day passes are an amazing deal. If you simply don’t see anything on the grid that interests you, that’s one thing, but you are nutty if you think it is over-priced. Use your brain and realize that as the cost of everything rises, it also affects entertainment costs including touring bands, who’s tour buses cost thousands to fill with gas. It causes their guarantees to rise which causes ticket prices to go up. I plan to be there having a wonderful time.
