Did Radiohead snub C3 for Coachella East?

While reporting last week that Austin-based C3 Presents was delaying its inaugural Vineland Music Festival in South New Jersey until 2009, Austin Music Source cited two competing festivals in the Northeast to be held the same Aug. 8- 10 dates. “Wonder which one got Radiohead?” we asked. That’s the band that undoubtedly made C3 blink.

The rumor is that Coachella-spinoff, All Points West Festival in Jersey City, has landed Thom Yorke and company. This site mentions other acts that are expected on the bill. But there’s been no official announcement yet.

All Points West, co-founded by Paul Tollett of Coachella, gets its name from the trains which took Ellis Island immigrants from the Jersey City depot to “all points west.”
