Dolly Parton to play SXSW
According to her website, Dolly Parton is playing South By Southwest March 14.
Her new album, “Backwood Barbie,” is due out in late February or early March on her own Dolly Records.
The SXSW appearance is part of the Backwoods Barbie tour, which kicks off Feb. 28 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Like the lyrics from one of Barbra Mandrell’s songs “I was country before country wasn’t cool!” Good to see that Dolly’s a commin!

Um, the lyrics are “I was country WHEN country wasn’t cool”.
