Another Rusty Wier benefit
One of the original cosmic cowboys (and a teen canteen drummer before that), Rusty Wier has been diagnosed with cancer and started chemotherapy in November. To help pay medical expenses, Rusty’s extended musical family has been pitching in with benefit shows, most recently Sunday night at Poor David’s Pub in Dallas.
The next one will take place at Wier’s home club, the Saxon Pub, on Feb. 16. Wier and band will play, along with W.C. Clark and Denim.
