The presentation everyone involved in the music industry should see
Yahoo’s Ian Rogers, formerly of a whole host of companies, including the Beastie Boys’ media arm Grand Royal, gave a brilliant presentation on the future of music and the internet at CAA’s music conference in Aspen, Colo. in December. He summarized it on his website.
Absolutely anyone involved in the music industry should read it. Heck, it’s probably worth reading if you are involved in the production and distribution of media in any way at all.
So what do you folks think? I’d love to hear from songwriters, label folks, consumers, IT professionals, programmers, etc. in our comments section.
