I’m guessing that this means he’ll stop guesting on the Morning X?

And does this mean that he’s too old for 101X and the only alternative is to move to KGEEZER? Being roughly the same age as Andy, I wish there were something in between.

Since the two stations are owned by the same people, I guess this isn’t much of a surprise, but the music he plays/talks about on 101X is so different than KGSR, I’m a bit surprised. What happened to Jody’s Sunday night new music show. Has Jody been forced out and I never noticed?

What a big loss for 101X! That was my favorite show.

101X needs to beef up their programming, and lose the annoying ads for strip joints.

Regardless, XM Radio takes the big prize for me anyday.

Will either station start playing American Graveyard? Why don’t we do more to help our local bands? The good ones that don’t play that pablum that passes as music these days. Troy Dillinger has a going now to get 2008 named ‘year of the music’ in austin, urging every person to attend 1 live austin music show a month in 2008. Something’s going on at KGSR. The lady filling in for Jody this week won’t answer the phone and attributes Eric Johnson songs to someone else. The weekend lady with the Minnesohtuh accent gets her erroneous infobits from websites and both these ladies obviously don’t know their rockandroll, so I hope Jody’s not out, but at least Andy Langer knows the business. Not as well as he thinks he does, but better than the subs KGSR has in now.
