Pimp C found dead in Hollywood hotel room
Houston rapper Pimp C, real name Chad Butler — and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33.
His death was confirmed by SXSW official Matt Sonzala in Austin. More on this story.

It is always unofortunate when we lose a life in this world and my heart goes out to his family don’t make any premature assumptions on how he died let the coroner make that determination. Pimp C was making a living and taking care of his family the only way he knew how and if being an MC is what it took then more power to him, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sad, the life of money and fame never seem to pan out for a lot of celebs. I have no idea what the cause is but speculation is easy. I read a comment by “cj”…. dude are you serious? The world may actually be a better place without people like you! What a dork! Ignorance is still bliss it seems….. Anyway, RIP “Pimp C”

Damn…I grew up on UGK. UGK is to the South what Big and Pac were to the East and West…Pimp, you will be missed…
