It’s never too early to think ACL 2008
If you’re an e-mail subscriber to the official Austin City Limits Music Festival site, you already know that early-bird tickets went on sale today for 2008’s incarnation. The general public might also be interested to know that next year’s festival dates are Sept. 26-28, according to the Web site.
So, not too early to buy tickets (if you’re one of the lucky ones), but way too early to complain about the lineup.

Was anyone lucky enough to get any 2008 ACL $50 Souvenir Tickets? All of my family registered and none of us were lucky winners. Was this just a scam?

I heard ACL promoters are currently working to secure Dave Mathews, Beastie Boys and The Eagles for next year.
Expect all, or permutations, of these artists to headline next year. A deal is very close to being agreed upon.

I would have bought the tickets early at the $50 price, but my days of buying $100+ tickets before the schedule comes out are over.

I sure hope the lineup is better than the last two years!
