Band of Horses playing Austin City Limits Festival?

auschronp88x440.jpg

For years now, the Internet has been an infinite source of information and misinformation surrounding the Austin City Limits Festival. But, while it at times seems that everyone is constantly plugged in, the fact of the matter is some people don’t use Twitter and Facebook every day. That must be the thinking behind what looks to be C3-purchased ads in the Austin Chronicle that seem to be leaking ACL band names. In last week’s issue, an ad had a Flaming Lips lyric. Today, on page 88, there is a black box ad containing the Band of Horses lyric ‘When I lived alone, is there a ghost in my house?’ Does this mean the South Carolina-based band that played the fest in 2008 is coming back? We shall see.
