Paulino makes “All-Glue” team

Longhorn guard Kenton Paulino has been named to SI.com’s All-Glue team.

The team recognizes players who make contributions that are not always found in the box score. Paulino was joined by Sean Dockery (Duke), Dane Bradshaw (Tennessee), Mike Hall (George Washington), Sean Marshall (Boston College) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (UCLA).

Paulino also does a lot that does show up. He’s hitting 44.6 percent of his three-point shots, including 55.6 in Big 12 compettiion — 57.7 in his last five games.

Agree with Mr. Johnson. As the "Silent Assassin" he deserves his credit. However, this is a team of seven, until JD Lewis is cut loose and allowed to be the Brandy Perryman of this team, if he can. Then it could be eight, if he can then produce. Until then, Paulino better keep pouring in his "unrecognized" points. Abrams is in the same position as Paulino as one of the two points. They both must produce on this team that lacks depth, for now...Mike Williams has another month, and needs the PT in crucial minutes in crucial games(KU, ATM, ZERO-U) to prove his worth. And he has it in him to do it. And the Horns need him (and Lewis) to be as dangerous as they can be.

Paulino is the surprise player on the team this year and deserves all recognition and awards he receives.
