Women’s Race will benefit Tuesday’s Children

An adventure race scheduled for Sunday will benefit Tuesday’s Children, a non-profit organization that helps families and children who lost a loved one in the terrorist attacks 10 years ago.

Terra Firma Racing’s annual Women’s Race is scheduled for Sept. 11. Two-person teams will run, walk and splash their way through the course at the Cedar Park YMCA.
It sounds pretty beginner friendly — organizers say it will take competitors about an hour to finish — and includes a costume contest and best watercraft contest.
Registration is $150 for a two-person team here.
Late registration will also be available at 7 a.m. the day of the race.
A costume parade is scheduled for 8 a.m., followed by a pre-race meeting at 8:30 a.m. and the official start at 9 a.m.
The Cedar Park YMCA is located at 204 E. Little Elm Trail in Cedar Park.
