Check out this interesting map, which shows hot spots for bicycle collisions in Austin from 2008 through mid-August 2010.

I realize you have a (shortened) link to the source blog, but please actually link to the excellent blog rather than just using his site for the larger image.

Pam here. The source of the map was the Austin Police Department. If you want to read a nicely done local cycling blog, check out “An Old Guy on Two Wheels,” by a retired Marine who started bike commuting when he realized he needed to get into shape. Go to http://oldguy2wheels.wordpress.com/. It’s packed with info about all things cycling, from bike equipment to commuting, recreational riding and safety. A recent entry was about riding on highway shoulders. Tim also does a homebrew blog! Awesome!
