America’s Great Outdoors Initiative
Want a say in the future of the great outdoors here in Texas?
The Backwoods store at the Hill Country Galleria, along with the Outdoor Industry Association, will host a community discussion for America’s Great Outdoors Initiative.
The meeting is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17 at the Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd. in Bee Cave.
The initiative’s goal is to create a 21st-century conservation agenda, reconnect Americans with the outdoors, and gather local input about how the federal government can best partner with local communities to manage America’s public lands and waters.
Tuesday’s meeting will give Austin area residents a chance to provide feedback.
A beer and wine reception will follow.
