Lance Armstrong documentary in the works

M5X081_4686_9.JPG

More than the usual crowd of cameras are focused on Lance Armstrong as he makes his Tour de France comeback this year.

It seems Hollywood is training a hopeful eye on Austin’s favorite cyclist. Sony Pictures Entertainment sent a crew to France to track Armstrong’s every move.

The filmmakers say it doesn’t matter if Armstrong wins, that his cancer-patient-turned-sports-hero story makes great footage no matter how his return to racing after a 3.5-year hiatus turns out. But they’ve got to be secretly smiling at the 37-year-old cyclist’s performance so far in the world’s biggest bike race.

So far, they’ve filmed Armstrong training with Team Astana, crashing and breaking his collarbone during the Vuelta Castilla y Leon (bet they loved that!), and getting a surprise visit from a drug tester.

What do you think? Would you go see the movie?

I’d rather watch three hours of back to back episodes of Little House on the Prairie. Yeah I said it!

HELL NO! Now Hollywood has become the Statesman-every time Lance ***** an article has to be written about him and on the front page! Can’t wait for the real drug tests results to come out and expose this fraud!

WHAT REAL DRUG TESTS? He has been tested more then any other athlete in the world. A Hollywood film about courage and strength as oppose to a Hollywood film full of over the top special effects and crappy acting, I’m In.

Yep!

(Other than Tom, it’s funny how the haters refuse to use a real name.) The guy has been tested 40+ times this year alone, and just got tested 2 days in a row on mountain stages and will probably get tested 7-10 more times in this race alone. Like or dislike him, any sportsfan has to respect an amazing 7 wins in a row and now a strong return after 4 years. And that’s not even counting how much he’s doing to raise money and awareness towards the fight against cancer during his training and the tour. What other athletes spends their downtime/valuable rest between stages meeting with cancer survivors, and world leaders?

The negative posts are from the nobodys that can’t recognize the abilities it takes, courage, strength, probably because they lack these traits on their own. Ask them what in their lifetime they’ve ever done thats productive to society? bunch of Losers! compare their lives with Lance…you’d get a bunch of low lifes with an opinion. Why bother posting? Get a life! It makes me sick to see all the unintelligent posters on AAS! You have an idiot on a computer that thinks his opinion is important. If only they would use their real names, then we could out them for the sorry a$$es that they are!
