The Linkdown is going on vacation next week and is tying up loose ends. So… many… loose ends!
Here is what you should be looking at on the Web:
- Hey, look, a Web-based Livestrong virtual bike race!
- Wikipedia: new globe logo, new “W” and new user interface.
- Citysearch has updated its iPhone and BlackBerry apps and rebuilt its Android app.
- Radar.net recently shut down its service.
- 3M wins a Gold Medal in the Thomas Edison Awards for its miniature projection technology. It was developed here in Austin.
- Wi-Fi technology is going 60 GHz for increased speeds.
- Capital Factory has chosen five startups for its summer 2010 program.
- Just as criticism of Facebook heats up, even from people in Congress, the company has launched a Congress page.
- Game Over Videogames’ summer Classic Game Fest 2010 is coming! It starts June 7.
- Upcoming happy hours: BATHH is tonight and Door 64’s next event is on Tuesday.
