An update to my last post about whether Time Warner Cable Price Lock Guarantee customers will be subject to tiered pricing on Road Runner: the company says they won’t be affected.
In an e-mail, TWC representative Melissa Sorola said:
“This will not affect a customer’s PLG. They will continue to see the benefits of their guaranteed price for the term they have signed up for.
As to the question of whether Earthlink customers will also have to pay tiered pricing for their Internet services, that’s still not completely clear.

I want to see the contract for Price Lock Guarantee ONLINE. I find it odd that Time Warner Cable does not post the Agreement anywhere online where I can find it. Their customer representative could not find it online for me either.

So, in reality, does my PLG mean that I get unlimited internet access for the term of my contract. Their language makes me believes there's a loophole...somewhere.
If they honor the contract, we'll stay until the end of the contract.
If they breach it, so long TWC.
I'd bet that AT&T is learning a LOT from this fiasco. I doubt seriously they'd consider a 40GB cap at the absurd price TWC is proposing.
Talk about regressing!
...wanting to insert very naughty words here, but restraining self...

You know the only reason they came out with this nebulous statement is because they saw all that $$$$ heading over to Grande Comm! Isn't a free market a wonderful thing!?!?!?

Omar,
Notice the wording only mentions the guaranteed price. Nothing regarding the services.
