- Say what you will about Sony (and I usually do), but they’re bringing Wi-Fi to their receivers and Blu-ray players. Well played. We hate wires.
- AT&T’s U-verse TV service added five new HD channels, bringing its total in Austin to 101.
- SwitchGames is another company trying to make a go of trading used video games, now dominated by GameStop.
- A company called miRoamer is trying to bring Internet radio to your car.
- Facebook is planning some significant tweaks to the home page its users see, including real-time updates, similar to what FriendFeed does.
- The guy who wrote the “Hamster on a Piano” song was threatened with legal action by the person who made the “Hamster on a Piano” video. You can hear a song about it here.
- This week’s All Tech Considered segment on NPR was about Clickers and tech on university campuses.
- Some pretty major Apple hardware updates, including new iMacs, Mac Minis, Airport Extreme routers, Time Capsules and Mac Pros.
