Restaurant critic and wine writer for the Austin American-Statesman, he has been writing about the local food scene for the last 12 years. Uchi announced that its hours are expanding, with the sushi restaurant opening 30 minutes earlier. The new hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and 5 to 11 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays.
