Thanks for reading! To answer your question, I did have an interview lined up with Patron. I very much wanted to go into exploring the premium and super premium categories of tequila and how that has changed the industry as well. Sadly, I didn’t have the space to fully tell that story in a way that would do it justice (as you can see it’s already incredibly long!), so it got cut from the final version.
I still think an article on that category of tequila specifically would be interesting, but I need to give some other spirits some love before circling back to revisit tequila. :)
Great article about my favorite spirit! I’m curious though why you didn’t even mention Patron tequila, especially since the founder of the company lives here in Austin and has done so much here for the community? After all, it was Patron that opened the door and paved the way for these other great tequilas. If not for Patron, these other brands wouldn’t even exist.

Hey Vaseline - a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Good thing you don’t use yours too regularly. One word - spellcheck. Use it. All I’m telling you is to do your research. You will then realize that you all have been bamboozled, and that Bone is doomed. At least you’ll all be able to drown your sorrows with plenty of fancy organic vodka that doesn’t sell. Maybe you can use it for gasoline to drive to job interviews. The world needs ditch diggers.
Have both Ambar Plato, and Z Reposado at the casa; both are great tequilas, and very well priced for the quality.

If you include Ambhar Tequila, you should also include Z Tequila. Not only did they do well in this competition, but they are based out of Austin, and are very involved with many philanthropic events around town.
Oh, Sydney. Ever heard of American Spirit cigarettes? I’m sure the same people who enjoy those will find pleasure with Smith’s Vodka. This is, hands down, the best vodka I’ve ever had. I mix it with H.E.B brand tonic water. Tasty!! I’m a pepper? Nah, I’m a Bonehead!!
