Stick a fork in me!
Now that the photos are up on Flickr.com and Myspace, I think I can leave this tour diary to your imagination from here on out. It’s time for me to get to work on the big Life & Arts cover story (also about our tour and how it ruled) that will run in the Austin American-Statesman on July 13. This blog shall remain right here and I will surely come back and write stuff from time to time, as we continue to tour and rock. But for now, I invite you to savor the photos and the video and all the other good stuff at HERE, HERE, HERE , and HERE. Also, if you have favorite moments from the tour diary that you vehemently believe should be in the big Statesman story, do e-mail me.
I will leave you with this tidbit. I can’t remember if I put it elsewhere in the tour diary or not. But it is good enough to say twice. Here it is:
On the way to our show in Milwaukee, we passed a store called COCKS SMOKERS’ OUTLET! Or maybe it was COX SMOKER’S OUTLET. Either way, the trip was worth it for that moment alone. We would have stopped for a photo by the store but we were already “late” to the show, thanks to such criticial, Austin-tatious activities as frisbee, napping, and margarita-drinking. But just know, if you are ever in Wisconsin, a certain kind of outlet is not far away.
Promise me you will all rock on! LOVE AND GUITARS … Erin :)
