‘Winnebago Man’ gets theatrical release
Starting July 9, the rest of America will get a chance to witness the cinematic sensation that has drawn raves from SXSW attendees, Conan O’Brien, Alec Baldwin and thousands of YouTube viewers. Austin filmmaker Ben Steinbauer’s documentary “Winnebago Man” is a salty portrait of Jack Rebney, a ticking time bomb of a Winnebago salesman. The movie’s theatrical tour begins in New York and should undoubtedly make its way down to Austin soon thereafter.
