Fantastic Fest winners announced

Just in from Fantastic Fest — which ended last night with a surprise screening of Paul Thomas Anderson’s terrifically-buzzed “There Will Be Blood,” presented by Anderson himself — is the list of this year’s winning films. Say organizers:

Taking top honors was Nacho Vigalondo with CRONOSCRIMINES (TIMECRIMES), a world premiere screening. Vigalondo won the “Best Feature” award in the AMD Next Wave Competition and wins a $3500 editing system from AMD/Dell and a $1000 cash prize. The Audience Award went to Ernesto Diaz Espinoza’s MIRAGEMAN, a Chilean martial arts film featuring Marko Zaror.
