Paula Abdul hasn’t slept at home since fan’s death
Paula Abdul’s making the rounds to promote a new line of trinkets, but the No. 1 topic on every interviewer’s mind continues to be the death last month of an obsessed fan.
Paula Goodspeed killed herself outside the “American Idol” judge’s Los Angeles home — and Abdul hasn’t spent a night there since the Nov. 11 incident, according to People.
“I’ve been staying in different homes and hotels, and I have security with me,” she said.
And odds are she’ll never stay there again. Abdul told the mag she’s “looking for another place to reside.”
Idol chatter …
- Bad news for “Idol” alum Fantasia: one of her two homes has reportedly been foreclosed on.
The ginormous Charlotte, N.C., residence — six bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms, 6,232 square feet, $1.3 million price tag — will be auctioned off Jan. 12 unless she can cough up a big chunk of change.

I can understand that Paula might have some issues with someone killing herself outside of Paula’s house. That would freak out anyone. But Fantasia foreclosure - good! I guess now she will want a bailout. These people get opportunities of a lifetime and the first thing they do is buy huge ticket items and can’t afford it. I’ve heard better Karoeke singers. Go be with Studdard. And they dogged out Clay Aiken? I think he’s making paper, right?
