Archie films his ‘iCarly’ guest appearance
David Archuleta is getting rave reviews for his appearance on an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon’s “iCarly.”
“He was really good,” Miranda Cosgrove, the show’s star, told Us Weekly. “He said it was his first big acting part and he just kind of came in and we didn’t even rehearse or anything. We just went for it and it went really well.”
The notoriously nervous Archie told the mag he enjoyed the gig, much to his surprise.
“I … thought I’d be awful at acting, but the whole experience felt really comfortable and came pretty easily since I was allowed to play myself.”
Look for the episode to air in February.

- We’re about to hear a lot more from the oh-so-lovable Melinda Doolittle.
Her debut album is due out in January, accoring to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Good news for you Melinda Doolittle fans! She’s set to release her debut album titled, Coming Back to You on Hi-Fi Recordings in January 09. Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Mike Mangini (Joss Stone, Run DMC, The Jonas Brothers), Coming Back to You was recorded with a team of live musicians in Nashville and New York City.
The first single, “It’s Your Love” will be released to radio in October.
