Watch out, Blake! ‘Friday Night Lights’ star loves to beatbox, too
“Friday Night Lights” star Scott Porter is a little bit jealous of Blake Lewis’s success … and he’s not afraid to admit it.
Why? Turns out the hunky actor is also a closeted beatboxer.
“When I saw him perform with Doug E. Fresh, I have to tell you I was a little jealous,” Scott told a “Lights” fan site. “But anything that can bring a little notoriety to beatboxing, I really enjoy.”
And, now that the show is back in Austin filming its second season, don’t be surprised if you see Scott stepping behind the mike at one of the city’s nightspots.
“There’s a group called Boombox out here in Austin, and whenever I get a chance to see them, they let me up on stage, and we jam a little bit,” he told another site. “It’s a great feeling to get to do what I used to do.”
So, next time you see hordes of screaming girls at a Boombox show, you’ll know why.

- A trip to rehab has delayed former “American Idol” finalist Jessica Sierra’s trial on battery and drug charges.
Jessica allegedly hit a man with a drinking glass at a Tampa, Fla., restaurant earlier this year. Arresting officers said she was carrying a small amount of cocaine, according to news reports.
We suspect an “E! True Hollywood Story” isn’t far off. And, sadly, we’ll probably watch.
